100M to 4G Transceivers

SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceivers are compact, hot-swappable fiber optic modules designed for flexible network connectivity in telecom, industrial, and enterprise environments. Often referred to as mini-GBIC modules, these 100M to 4G SFP transceivers are MSA compliant and certified to CE, FCC, and RoHS standards. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) provides real-time diagnostics, improving visibility, reliability, and long-term network stability.

NAFO/Coretek offers a comprehensive portfolio of fiber optic and copper SFP modules including:

• 155M SFP and 155M BIDI SFP

• 622M SFP

• 1.25G SFP and 1.25G BIDI SFP

• 2.5G SFP and 2.5G BIDI SFP

• 4G Fibre Channel SFP

• Copper RJ45 SFP

• C37.94 SFP for telecom transport (IEEE C37.94)

• CWDM SFP modules (155M, 1.25G, 2.5G)

• DWDM SFP modules (155M, 1.25G, 2.5G)

Data Rates:

Typical data rates range from 100 Mbps, 155 Mbps, 622 Mbps, 1.25 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, and up to 4 Gbps depending on transceiver type.

Wavelength:

Common wavelengths include 850 nm, 1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm, and CWDM or DWDM wavelength ranges depending on optical design.

Media:

Supports multimode fiber (MMF), single-mode fiber (SMF), and copper Ethernet interfaces depending on module type.

Reach:

Typical transmission distances range from 100 m to 550 m over MMF and approximately 2 km, 10 km, 20 km, 40 km, 80 km, and up to 120 km or more over SMF depending on optical variant and link budget.

Connector:

Common connector types include LC simplex, LC duplex, SC (legacy applications), and RJ45 for copper transceivers.
